After the artists Maude Maris and Elsa Sahal, it is Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil’s turn to present a work called “Comment te dire adieu”. This in situ installation features a removable architect’s table that is more than 100 years old, which he transforms into a stencil where the title of the work can be read.
Former resident of Villa Médicis, Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil is a French visual artist, represented in France by the gallery In Situ – Fabienne Leclerc, in Paris. He has exhibited in France and abroad (Palais de Tokyo, Ricard Foundation, Caixa Foundation of Barcelona…) and was notably awarded the Meurice Prize for Contemporary Art in 2010. His works, punctuated by a certain freedom, navigate between visibility and invisibility, brightness and darkness, memory and oblivion…
To inaugurate the third edition of Équinoxes, their biannual artistic program, Françoise and Jean-Luc Déchery, respectively artistic director and president of french luxury house Camille Fournet, welcomed many friends and customers to their shop on rue Cambon. Among the prestigious guests present at the opening, the brand ambassador Nicolas Ouchenir or Laurent Le Bon, director of the Picasso Museum.
