Gabriele Maggio has had an important career in the luxury sector, where he has worked for Gucci and Bottega Venetta. He will take up his new position on 21 October, succeeding Frédéric Lukoff, who left Stella Mccartney last June to join Scotch&Soda.

A pioneer in ecological fashion, Stella Mccartney is constantly developing and growing. In 2001, Stella Mccartney created her own fashion house with the Kering company, after having succeeded Karl Lagerfeld by working for the Chloé company.

After establishing an agreement with Kering at the beginning of 2018, Stella Mccartney is leaving the number two in French luxury goods. François-Henri Pinault, CEO of Kering, said: “This is the right time for Stella to take this new step. Kering is a luxury group that empowers creative minds to achieve their potential, and enables innovative ideas to become reality. A little more than a year after leaving the giant Kering, Stella Mccartney has joined forces with the French luxury leader, LVMH, to accelerate the development of its company in terms of strategy and activity. This union allows the multinational to strengthen itself in terms of ethical and sustainable fashion, an important issue for the younger generations.
