Following the success of its NAG gallery – Not a Galerie – located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Natacha Dassault has just opened a new exhibition space dedicated to international contemporary creation: Now a Galerie, NAG +.
To inaugurate this new exhibition space, the owner invited the American graffiti artist and painter of Dominican origin, John Andrew Perello, alias JonOne.
A pioneer of the graffiti movement in New York in the 1980s, JonOne has since lived in Paris and is now one of the most recognized artists in the world of contemporary urban art.
Passionate about graffiti since his teenage years, which he discovered at the age of 17, JonOne came from the culture of street art. He said in particular “The metro is a museum that crosses the city“.
The exhibition offers a series of small-format oil paintings. Galerie NAG also exhibits a collection of photographs by the passionate Olivier Dassault, referring to JonOne’s work, as well as a series of coloured resin sculptures by the artist Cat Sirot.
To visit from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays by appointment.
