New York Fashion Week to return for september 6-10, 2019

From 6 to 11 of september, New York Fashion Week will take place, reduced to 5 days instead of a week. This will be the first edition under the direction of its new chairman Tom Ford.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has unveiled the calendar of New York Fashion Week shows.

For example, among those who might be present : the Japanese designer Tomo Koizumi who made a great impression in January with his colorful dresses (September 6 at 7 pm), or the winner of the CFDA / Vogue fashion fund prize 2018, Kerby Jean-Raymond and his label Pyer Moss (7 September at 8 pm).

Other brands such as Longchamps, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren or Marc Jacobs for example will also attend.

Among the various changes, this New York Fashion Week will be the first edition under the presidency of Tom Ford who said he wanted to reinvent the event.

Another novelty : the return of Tommy Hilfiger in New York after passing through Paris.

The show “Tommynow” will present its collaboration with Zendaya on September 8 at 8:30 pm at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
