For twenty-eight autumns, the Monaco Yacht Show has been sailing calmly in the Principality’s territorial waters. As every year, the show will welcome professionals but also visitors who will be able to discover or rediscover the world of top-of-the-range yachting around guided tours, conferences or product presentations.
The event’s general manager Gaëlle Tallarida also points out that the organisers are striving “to offer the most prestigious superyacht event possible to the new generation of customers”.
And without any pun intended, we can say that the salon de la grande plaisance is doing well.
Many manufacturers will be present, such as the Italian Benedetti, the Germans from the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard or the Dutch from Feadship, but also shipping brokers such as Imperial yachts or Edmiston. Because one of the main objectives is to meet customers and salespeople and bring the industry together. This is why many yachts will be labelled “for sale” as is the case for Aurorea Borealis or Elixir, whose prices are estimated at 83 and 39 million euros respectively.
Some are also available for rent, such as the 93-metre long Lady S or the 83-metre long Here come the sun.
In addition, among the yachts launched in world premiere, the much awaited FB 277 from Benedetti, which has not yet been officially announced but which would be, at 107 metres long, the largest yacht of the gathering.
The Monaco Yacht Show has new schedules this year, from 11am to 19.30 pm (19 pm on Saturday 28) from 25th to 28th September 2019 at Port Hercule in Monaco. The price of tickets to the event starts at 280 € on the official website for a day.
